“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the LORD is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”   Psalm 100:1-3

How will I survive through my teenage years?  My body is inferior.  I look funny.  I am not as talented as others.  God never makes mistakes, and you are made in His perfect image.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”      Psalm 109:14

Minds are changing from concrete to abstract thinkers.  They now have the ability to concisely and accurately articulate their faith.  They need to take ownership in their faith.

“But in your hearts, set apart Christ as Lord.  Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect.”  1 Peter 3:15

What is the relationship between freedom and responsibility?  Freedom means getting away with something without getting caught.  A train runs on a track.  The train may choose freedom from the track, but it causes it to go out of control and stop.  The greatest freedom comes from staying on the track.

“I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.  I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.”  Psalm 119:32, 45

Focus on God’s unique plan for my life.  How do I discover the gifts and abilities that God has given me and put them to use?  Life is not about maximizing income, or climbing the social ladders.  Life is about following God’s plan.  Following God’s plan is where we will find the greatest joy in life.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”   Jeremiah 29:11

Absolute Truth – Does it exist?  What is the source of it?  Jesus is the ONLY way.  All other religions are wrong and lead to hell.

“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”  John 17:17
